Underwhelmed Doesn't Cover It...
Jun. 2nd, 2006 10:05 amAs, I think, most folks reading this LJ know, I'm a Bon Jovi fan. A BIG Bon Jovi fan, in fact. To the point where I will risk being utterly crippled (I can't stand up for long periods of time) to see them in concert.
So when, last September, I saw that they were going to be touring here, I bought my ticket.
That was September.
The concert I'm going to is next Wednesday, in Coventry.
I only frelling GOT my ticket yesterday courtesy of the promoter not releasing the tickets. (At least, that was Ticketmaster's excuse.)
Inside was a leaflet about parking, informing me that I had to book it and that there would be no on-street parking. Well that's not exactly unusual for major concerts. So I rang the venue today, to try and book.
Guess what? They only take bookings BY FRELLING POST.
Yes.
You read that right.
I can only book my car parking space (and let's add at this point, there's a limited availablility) by physically sending the Ricoh Arena a cheque through the post for a concert on Wednesday.
I am very, very under-impressed, seeing as I specifically picked out Coventry as the venue to go to because it was going to be easier to get to/park in than London.
