I'm Going Slightly Mad...
Jan. 25th, 2006 08:10 amI think I've mentioned that SAPDB is crap (once or twice). If I haven't: it is. If I have: it bears repeating. My current task is to try and import data from that into MSSQL. When it takes THREE HOURS to format data to import it because the original data is so full of inconsistancies (that should not be possible with the database structure!) you KNOW the originating database is crap.
Ugh.
I've been doing this for four days and I've still got 30 tables to go...
Ugh.
On the up side, I might be able to finish today...I hope...
Meantime, I'm still going to the gym - this is, in fact, the fourth week of consecutive attendance so *really* go me. It's also the fourth week of dieting in general. And I'm now just about 13 1/2 stone (or just under 190 pounds or just over 85kg), which is a loss of around about 11 pounds. I've still got a way to go yet, of course - I'm aiming for about 12 stone, which is another 21 pounds (!!) but still; 11 pounds is the most I've ever managed to lose on one of my diet-kicks (previous best was 7 pounds), and I've *almost* dropped a jeans size: my size 14 Lee jeans are too big [I've donated those to my mother], though my size 12 Lee jeans are still a little too tight to wear, they WILL at least now do up! (All sizes are American, btw - I can only *dream* of being a UK 12; my hips get in the way!)
OK. Can't put it off any longer...
