Wow

Well, it's been a relatively successful day. I've been able to tick off virtually everything from my work to do list (the one thing I can't tick off I can't do until I get the blinking brochure *pauses briefly to phone them up and beg for yet another attempted send*) and I've managed to rather nicely progress Mistletoe and Wine to a point where I have today's part just about ready. It's just a matter of me reading it through and probably tweaking one or two sentences.

I've also discovered that I can write between 800 and 900 words in an hour. Why couldn't I have managed that in November?!?!?

The chances of me managing to be similarly productive on Monday are slim, though, as I've got to try and pursue an error problem (it's something that's just come in - the client in question has no objections to me looking into it on Monday, though!) and the chances of the phone only ringing once all day are remoter than South Georgia and with fewer penguins.

Still. Go me for today.

Well, Mistletoe and Wine is underway on the CBB /shameless promotion

And it's not even 10pm yet! This is a record for me. Of course, the logical thing to do would be start part two and strike while the proverbial iron is hot. On the other hand, I think I could do with a change of pace.

And since I'm being taken Christmas shopping tomorrow (*delicate shudder*), which means an early start to avoid the worst of the crowds (*delicate shudder*), that change of pace may well be bed.

Have to see.
