Horror...Oh The Horror...
Dec. 20th, 2004 07:07 pmWell, IMDB has updated and given my theory on WHO it is that updates Dan Southworth's information on at least a semi-regular basis, I'm inclined to believe it: Dan is going to be appearing in two low-buget horror movies. One is called Demon Hunter. As he's playing "Guard", I'm sorta thinking it's going to be a rather quickie appearence. OTOH, as the film's been written by Mitch Gould, I may be a bit more interested in it than otherwise might be the case. (Beware, I may just start a Mitch Gould website...)
The second, though, rather makes my heart sink just from the title. The title? House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim. It's based on a Sega video game. It's the sequel to a stinker of a box office flop. Dan's character is called Nakagawa and is one of only two non-WASP* characters in the named cast. According to movie (and particularly, horror movie) cliche, he's going to be one of the first to die.
And do you know the worst thing about this all? I'm torn between being pleased that Dan's working and morose for the fact that I really, really, above all other genres of movie making, cannot stand horror movies.
