Notes, News And Such...

Shadow Games is progressing nicely. I'm virtually at 80,000 words (and with a bit of luck, today, I should hit/breach that).

I'm also thinking about making a start on the highschool story today (I have the plot laid out in my head and it's just a matter of getting an 'in' going).

And, just to prove that no, I don't have my head in the sand:

This journal (and the person behind it) is an election free zone. I don't want to discuss it (believe me, I get quite enough of that at home*), so please, if you do want political discourse, find someone else today. Particularly if Ohio goes into the standby ballots**. Thank you.


* For those of you who don't know; my father is a former politician and still spends innordinate amounts of time following politics and, for him, this sort of thing is pure heaven. (For the rest of us, it's pure hell. At least he went to bed this time...)

** I think that's the term. If it's not, it's certainly how they're used (yeah, I've had it explained to me several times [see above]) and you can get my meaning.
