Why is it, you come into work on a Monday morning and find something's hiccupped over the weekend?

*sigh*

The boss is back from vacation tomorrow. Yay. (No, not sarcasm, just low energy.)

I only have a couple of bits and pieces left to be dealt with on my work list, although I do also need to completely tidy up and make it look less like I'm a complete slob...

On the home decorating front, I did manage to successfully strip one and a half walls of wallpaper yesterday. I may very well have a poke at the rest of the half when I get in from work tonight, if I have the energy for it - my goal would be to get the walls stripped this week and to start rubbing down the woodwork ready for painting - though I can't start painting until we've had an electrician come in and fit me some more sockets and until someone's done some plastering.

That said, I would love to be ready to start painting as soon as the plastering's done, so...

Well, the work day is upon me. Time to get on with those couple of bits and pieces.

Or possibly even the month because I doubt I'm going to beat this one.

My cellphone rings.

I answer it:
Me: Hello
Caller: Is that Rachel?
Me: Yes it is *thinking wtf is my brother calling me for?*
Caller: Oops - I meant to call Rachel in accounts.
Me: No, I'm your sister.
Caller: I know that. Sorry. Wrong number. I'll change it. Unless you want to settle these accounts!
Me: No, not particularly.
Caller: Sorry - bye!

*shakes head*
