Can I Kiss Xing Please?

You all remember the saga of the badfic? (if you page back about ten entries, you'll see it all summed up, and no, I haven't had a response to my second email. Pity...!) Well, not long after that, Xing posted up a reminder on the ff.net homepage pointing out that ANY sort of keyboard conversation-type entry in any part of a story constituted a break of the TOS for ff.net.

Guess what the idiot author of the badfic has at the start of EVERY chapter.

Guess which story has just been reported for repeated and persistant abuse of the poor TOS.

The moral of this story: Don't make wages your nobility can't honour; sooner or later, I WILL get even.

Shadow Games

Big yay! I am a fifth of the way done. Chapter 8 is complete, though - regretably - lacking kickass. Ah well. It WILL be in chapter 9.

Two more chapters and I will be a quarter of the way through.

The amusing thing is that a few weeks ago, I was shit-fitting about whether I'd have enough story to go round. I'm now behind on my original chapter plan by a good four chapters. *giggles* I really SHOULDN'T worry about these things...
