AAAAGH!

My car - you know, the one that's supposed to be fixed - won't start. It's turning over but not igniting. I am, as you may imagine, just a MITE pissed off.

Especially seeing as how it started fine yesterday afternoon, three times on Saturday (one immediately following a downpour) and every other time I've asked it to start in the last week.

Gah.

Slightly Less Irritated...

...but still with a non-functioning car. *sigh* Auto electrician is coming to see it at 2pm (so that's a guarenteed £25 before we start...)

Meantime, I thought I'd update on the flamer from last night...

Commentary - Round 2

Well, in a better mood and since I'm still here at home...I figure I might as well get into the Future Imperfect commentary.

Touch Wood...

Well, I've just been for a 30 mile (or there abouts) drive around the N.Bristol countryside, to "blow the shit out of the engine" (something I have to confess I have been meaning to do but what with one thing and another it hasn't been done...). Actually, given the length of time I've been out, and the speed I've been doing, it's actually must be more than that, since I've been out for an hour...

Either way, I think we're fixed again.

Until we find something else that's conked out because of disuse...and that IS what the problem is with a lot of this stuff - today's little issue was with a clogged fuel injector, clogged because the previous owner only did 4000 miles in the 5-6 years he owned the car...

This means, in practice, once everything is fixed and sorted, I'm going to have a good little car that will last me a nice long time.

It's this kink-fixing period that's driving me nuts...
