Back To Work

Well, car has now started 4 for 4, so HOPEFULLY, that is now fixed, cured and sorted. Hopefully.

I am here in work, about to start in on fixing everything I coded yesterday (this is the other drawback to telecommuting; I invariably spend half the following day redoing what I did the day before!), just as soon as I finish rewriting the Identiverse FAQs.

Yeah, my priorities are a little screwed up!

I'm Bored...

Too much very tedious work.

Have to see if I can concentrate a little energy on Jingle All The Way - at least that way I'd be semi-productive!

*yawns*

Yes, I am still very bored (when 305th page recorded you have, be as bored you will be).

On the upside, ep 7 of Time Lost is all coded and ready to go. Part 4 of Jingle All The Way is about two thirds ready (a couple of hours tonight should see to that). On the downside, I am resigned to Jingle going to five parts plus epilogue and I haven't done a sentence towards ep 8.

Panic? Moi?

Oh, and the car's now 6 for 6, AND I found myself a decent parking spot right outside where I was going, too!

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!

Well. First off: Car started in work carpark at 6pm (never mind that I was still in work at 6pm on December 30th - that's a side issue!).

As it failed dismally to do this last week, this is considerable progress.

Then, on my way home, I decided to go the long route to stretch the new car's 'legs' as it were. There is a stretch (on my alternative route home) that is non-speedlimited. I've done it in the old car and it rattled a bit - it didn't like accellerating up hill. The new one...purred! I wound it up to 60mph with virtually no effort, and could have got more but for the fact that the non-limited stretch was coming to a close, and there was a roundabout coming up (Bristol sucks like that sometimes).

Ahhh - gotta love a car that likes to accellerate. REALLY gotta love it, in fact *grins*

When I write my first best sellar, I'm buying myself a TVR*...

Tis done!

Part 4 is done and dusted and ready for posting, which means (big yay!) I'm hitting my deadlines tomorrow. (Well, in about 15-20 minutes, in fact!)

But so much for finishing Jingle All The Way. I am a good part and an epilogue off doing that.

Oh well...

I think next on the adgenda is what's required for ep 8, which I should be able to take care of mostly tomorrow (and that, ladies and gentlemen, will then mean that I've only got ep 10 to write and that is Time Lost completed!), and which will then leave me the rest of the week to deal with Jingle.
