Yes. I am back going to the gym. I haven't been in the last seven weeks, mostly courtesy of my father and his wretched ankle (of which, more in a second), so it was a bit (!) of a shock to the system, but, at the same time, it feels rather good to get back to it. Here's hoping I can truly get back in the habit.

Speaking of the paternal unit, the plaster came off middle of last week and he's now hobbling around the house (including sleeping upstairs again - hence me being able to have an early start again!) and showing his scars to anyone not quick enough to escape... He hasn't gone back to driving (yet - unless you count driving my mother round the bend), but he's definitely on the mend. Thankfully!

And, in other news...well there isn't really any other news. One way or another, I've not done a great deal of writing lately. Inspiration seems to have gone walk about and taken the plot bunnies with it. I'm hoping to get *something* ready for posting before I go on vacation (next Wednesday), though *what* it will be is entirely debateable at this point!

Yay for your Dad being able to get up and about, and for you to get your early starts again! :)

dads on the mend are a good thing. and despite what we think, going to the gym is also a good thing.

i have something for you, but now i wonder if you already have it [livejournal.com profile] ganeris is sometimes faster on the draw than mayself and may have already got it for you. or someone else, for that matter. but it's kind of kitschy and cool, so if you have two i think you'll be able to deal. i need to get your direction, though!

Ooh; that sounds most intreguing. I'll drop you an email with that direction thing in a moment.

Bits of me, this morning, are arguing over whether the gym is a good thing. OTOH, they do say, no pain, no gain. On a third hand, however, I'm thinking "they" might just be morons...

*hugs*
