*grin* Oh, I'm not disappointed. I'm just boggled that Bristol got snow and elsewhere (that maybe expected it more - and in particular, Scotland) didn't.

My parents haven't seen a flake apparantly. Maybe Bristol has grown a micro-climate?

My boss, who comes in from Badminton every day, hadn't seen more than the odd flake either.

I've long been convinced that Bristol has a microclimate - if only because what usually happens is it snows all the way around the city but not in the city!

This is all very, very weird and not normal.

One of our management team phoned to say they were snowed in in Somerset.

That doesn't surprise me. I suspect what we got here was the tail edge of what they got down in Somerset.

I'm still boggled, though. Normally, it snows in Somerset and it doesn't touch us!

We had snow in Dublin... but it didn't stick. It never does here, too wet!
