Sensation!

Those of you who know me/have met me know that I have long hair. When it's wet (and hence straight!), it reached somewhere around about the top of my jeans/small of my back.

Emphasis on the past tense in that sentence: My long hair is no more.

Well, ok. It's long enough for me to put up still, but it's only around about shoulder length now...and it feel SO much better!

Oooh, I can sooo understand that. When I was sixteen, my hair reached to my b...ehind (when it was dry!). Since it's thick and heavy, I never regretted having it cut to shoulder length too. Spending one hour just on washing and getting cramps in your arms from attempting to to pull it into a ponytail suck majorly.

I think it's great, as long as you like it. Callie is bummed out on your behalf - she is the long hair queen, and is growing hers out again.

Also, she was thrilled with her gifts today and will be sending you a thank you in the mail.

Mine's thick - but less of the heavy now! *grin* And yes, the shoulder burn does suck mightily. That's another thing I'm glad to be rid of - at least until it grows that long again...!

*chuckles* Callie has fabulous hair - if mine looked half so good, I wouldn't have cut it (well...probably wouldn't). Unfortunately, mine was tending towards rats tails and split ends. Yech.

Very glad she liked the gifts though :) Hope she has a happy day :) *uses purple icon in her honour*

liberated! i am excited for you. that first shampoo is the hardest. one always puts too much in!

i was just thinking it was time to chop all mine off, but i have decided to grow it out until august. since i am in a wedding at the end of july, i want long hair for them to up do. i plan to exceed my record of most bobby pins used (current record: ASK's wedding in september 2003, 64 pins). but come august first, it's all gone.

Wow, really? Your hair didn't strike me as THAT long ... but kudos to getting up the nerve to having ıt cut. I remember how I felt way back when. The first strand to fall was ... awful. After that, I was just looking forward to a good cut. :)
