It wasn't a ninth ring day yesterday, which does help to put it into perspective, but it remained constantly irritating all day.

I found my key (it turned up on the loading dock here at work), but then discovered that the batteries in my speakers had died. I ate lunch and had 20 minute hiccups (I have a pulled stomach muscle as a result). I spent an hour hunting up what was wrong with a piece of code, only to discover I was asking it to check for end of file on something that could never be end of file. I drove home and got caught up in a monster traffic jam (that I discovered this morning may or may not be as a result of Casualty filming [who the **** films Casualty at rushhour on Muller road?! It's the only bloody route East/West in North Bristol...]), so I take a short cut/rat-run to try and skip at least some of the trouble and some **** in a yellow fiat punto (aka motorised rollerboot) completely takes out my driver's side wing mirror because she's driving so far over to the right and doing at least 35 in a 30 zone (I, by comparison, was doing 25 and slowing and was almost far enough over to take out my own passenger side mirror). So I have to get that fixed.

Oh, and just to finish off? I got to tutorial last night and my hair band snapped.

Suffice to say, I am seriously hoping that today is an improvement.

Addendum: The cost of fixing the mirror is going to be £84 - it needs a completely new mirror housing. My only consolation is that at least mine is a generic Fords mirror whereas the ****'s was colour coded and unquestionably electricly opperated so therefore likely to be vastly expensive.
