The hockey was a lot of fun; a lot more fun than umpiring in point of fact, but I know that umpiring is more useful, fewer people can do it (because you have to have a qualification before you can umpire league games) and as much as I enjoy outfield playing, I can only do that once in a while. Umpiring I can at least do every week.

The sucky stuff is having to sort out all the admin stuff, which I'm spending a chunk of my evening doing. Really not fun...
