Ugh Redux

Wonder when this blasted cold is going to take a hike. I thought it was beginning to last night, but no - this morning it's back full force with enough pressure on my sinuses that my face feels like it's...maybe I don't want to go there; I certainly don't want to gross people out. Suffice to say: Not Fun.

*pauses to wave to any CBB'ers passing through*

Bandit Country Update: Considering how crap I've felt over the weekend, it's probably no real surprise that I've not got beyond chapter 2 yet. If I can face looking at a computer screen a bit later on, though, I plan to make a stab at chapter 3. Bit of a big if right at the moment, though...

Sorry to hear your cold is still in full force, they're fairly horrible things. Also too bad you're not making much progress, but it's hard to concentrate when breathing is a struggle. I'm sure your kitties are just trying to be comforting - or maybe it's cold in your house and they want to snuggle - but I know a cat's behind in your face can be annoying when you're trying to sleep.

I think my cats are using me as parent-replacement material. Normally, they wouldn't *think* of fussing over me, but as this weekend (on top of sneezing at them) I've been head tin opener, they've been playing suck up.

It's not so much cat rear in face that's the issue as cat claw in sensitive portions of anatomy and/or cat bulk being dumped on body in such a way as to lead to complete loss of circulation...

Thanks for the sympathy. There is ONE plus point to being sick: I don't have to deal with bunnies from hell...

I know - it's all kinds of wrong, that's for sure! Client's reaction was "Ummmmm cricky!" - but as the alternative was something unbearably cutsy, I guess this was the best alternative. It's actually an Easter offer, if you can believe that!
